Cedar, Basswood and Wood Blinds
Care
Since your wood blind is made from real wood, care must be taken in cleaning. Washing the blind is NOT recommended. Although the wood is sealed, water or even excessive dampness may cause warpage or discoloration of the slats.
Dust can be easily brushed off at regular intervals using a clean, soft dust cloth or a vacuum cleaner brush attachment.
To Dust: Use a soft, clean cloth and tilt the slats up and then down (but not entirely closed) to reach the entire top and bottom surfaces.
To Vacuum: Use the brush dust head attachment and tilt slats.

This product is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for three years from the date of purchase. Due to Natural differences in grain & texture, slight colour variation may occur from wood to wood. Areas of humidity may cause warpage from slat to slat. These are all characteristics of wood and should not be considered a defect. This warranty does not cover claims that any such components are defective as a result of exposure to sunlight. Any defect, malfunction, or failure to perform caused by fire, wind, hail, flood, lightning, or other acts of God, intentional acts, accidents, negligence or exposure to harmful chemicals, or pollutants is excluded from this warranty. This warranty does not cover removal, installation or reinstallation of this product.

Care
Occasional light vacuuming with a brush attachment should keep these blinds clean. More severe soiling can be removed by using a soft cloth and a mild detergent/water solution.

Care
Aluminum Blades: Can be cleaned with damp cloth and a mild detergent.
Vinyl Blades: Can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Also, if a thin film of mild detergent is left on louvers, it will eliminate static electricity.
Fabric Blades - Non Insulated Fabrics: Require only periodic vacuuming. For soiled fabrics, we recommend a gradual progression through the following:1) Let the soil dry and try to gently pick it off the fabric.
2) Gently scrub with warm water.
3) Gently scrub with warm water and a mild detergent such as dishwashing liquid.Fabric Blades - Non Insulated Fabrics: Require only periodic vacuuming. For soiled fabrics, we recommend a gradual progression through the following:

Decorama Blinds warrants that its products are manufactured to the highest professional standards and carefully inspected before shipping. Decorama Blinds offers a Limited Lifetime Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship on our Vertical Track Systems. If breakage occurs during normal use, return it to us and we will repair it at no charge.
This limited lifetime warranty extends only to the original purchaser and is not transferable and does not cover damage caused by improper installation, maintenance or use. This limited warranty does not cover claims that any such components are defective as a result of exposure to sunlight. Any defect, malfunction or failure to perform caused by fire, wind, hail, flood, lightning, or other acts of God, intentional acts, accidents negligence, or exposure to harmful chemicals or pollutants is excluded from this limited warranty.
Decorama Blinds reserves the right to change, discontinue or alter any of its products, or the parts incorporated into any of its products, at its sole discretion. If any part or component originally installed in any Decorama Blind product is not available within 30 days after original date of receiving merchandise, A Better Blind, Inc. con not be held responsible for any discontinued products. Decorama Blinds cannot be held responsible for dyelots, discontinued products, or any part hereof, if products for any customer are not all ordered at the same concurrent time.
